About us

Kuiva started from something very ordinary:
coming home with wet jackets, damp shoes, gloves everywhere, and clothes that never really dried before the next morning. Living in Helsinki, this isn’t an occasional inconvenience - it’s part of everyday life for most people.

After years of dealing with the same problem at home, we realised there wasn’t a simple, compact and good-looking solution for drying everyday gear. Traditional drying cabinets are big and designed for utility rooms. not modern homes or smaller apartments.

So we decided to build one ourselves.

Kuiva is a small, quiet drying cabinet that fits in normal hallways and looks like it belongs there. It’s made for anyone who knows what rainy and snowy weather is like.

We're building this company slowly and carefully. Our first batch will be small. We’re listening, improving, and shaping Kuiva into something genuinely useful and a product that makes life a bit easier.
